Performance Features

A turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine pushes out 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, for adequate acceleration, getting from 0 to 60 in roughly 8 seconds. The power runs through a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to the choice of front- or all-wheel drive. It’s a composed and predictable driver, if not a little bland. Fuel economy ranges from 27 MPG city and 32 MPG highway in the off-road-tuned Rock Creek trim with all-wheel drive, to 30 MPG city and 37 MPG highway in the base front-wheel drive version.

Style and Technology

From the outside, the 2025 Nissan Rogue has the typical compact SUV profile. The front fascia features an understated grill and high-set headlamps, with an angled lip lack to the hood. This comes from the 2023 refresh, which also brought an updated rear look as well.

A spacious interior has been the hallmark of the Rogue, making the most of a small footprint. There is seating for five, with second-row occupants getting 38.5 inches of leg room, comparable to many mid-size SUVs. With rear seats in place, there is 36.5 cubic feet of space, making it one of the roomiest cargo bays in the class – this can be expanded to 74.1 cubic feet with the second-row seats folded down.

The base 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration standard, while the available 12.3-inch version adds in Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto integration. While most come with either four or six speakers, a 10-speaker Bose Premium Sound System with Subwoofer is provided on the top trim level. Every model comes with multiple USB ports and BlueTooth wireless phone and audio, while options include the Dual Camera Drive Recorder, wireless phone charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot and more.

Safety

Every 2025 Nissan Rogue comes with automatic emergency braking and rear automatic emergency braking, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring, adaptive high-beams, intersection assist, and a driver attention monitor. Lane departure warning is standard, while above the base model, a lane intervention feature guides the vehicle back into its lane. While a rearview camera is standard, a 360-degree camera is available.

Trim Levels

Five trims are available on the 2025 Rogue, with the Rock creek trim being added on top of the four traditional levels.

The base S trim is a very basic entry-level trim and sits on 17-inch alloy wheels and includes the standard features mentioned above. Both front seats are manually adjustable and wrapped in durable cloth upholstery. Power locks and windows, remote keyless entry, push-button start and an automatic climate control system are all standard as well. The stereo system is a four-speaker unit, and there are two USB ports.

Upgrading to the SV trim brings 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, along with an optional dual-panel panoramic moonroof. The audio system is upgraded to a six-speaker version, and two rear USB-C ports are added. The driver’s seat is upgraded to eight-way power adjustability, and synthetic leather upholstery is optional, along with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Dual-zone automatic climate control aids passenger comfort. Remote start and a power liftgate both add to the ease of use.

The Rock Creek edition gets many of the same conveniences as the SV trim, but with some rough-road upgrades and unique badging. Sitting on black 17-inch wheels clad in all-terrain tires, it gets a standard roof rack for carrying outdoor needs and a hill-descent control system for tackling poor terrain. The front fascia gets a gloss black grille. Inside, the seats get wrapped in exclusive Rock Creek leatherette, and the front seats are heated. Four-way power adjustability for the passenger seat, along with driver’s seat memory settings and a heated steering wheel, are part of the available Premium package. A hands-free liftgate and ambient LED interior lighting are also available.

The Sport Hybrid trim brings the hybrid engine into play and sits on 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with black inserts. A black decklid spoiler adds further sporty hints outside. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-wrapped shifter knob, and sport pedals bring the sense of performance into the interior. The 12.3-inch color touch screen with Alexa is standard, along with Qi-compatible wireless phone charging.

Including everything that is standard on the SV level, the SL trim gets 19-inch alloy wheels outside. Genuine leather upholstery is used inside, and the power-adjustable passenger seat is standard. Heating is provided for the front seats and the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is included, along with navigation. An optional Premium package adds a panoramic moonroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, driver seat memory settings, and a hands-free power liftgate for easy access.

Unique 19-inch wheels come on the range-topping Platinum trim. Semi-aniline leather upholstery features inside, and the driver’s seat gets standard memory settings. The 10-speaker Bose audio system is standard, as is the panoramic sunroof. Similar to the SV trim, the tri-zone automatic climate control and hands-free power liftgate are part of an upgrade package.
